Lyrics and Translations

Nǐ zěnme shěde wǒ nánguò-huángpǐnyuán

Duì nǐ de sīniàn, shì yītiān yòu yītiān
The thoughts of you I have day to day

Gūdān de wǒ háishì méiyǒu gǎibiàn
The lonely me still have not changed

Měilì de mèng, hé shí cáinéng chūxiàn
Beautiful dreams can still appear

Qīn’ài de nǐ, hǎo xiǎng zàijiàn nǐ yīmiàn
My beloved, I want to see you once more.

Qiūtiān de fēng, yīzhèn zhèn de chuīguò
Wind of autumn, waves after waves blew by

Xiǎngqǐle qùnián de zhège shíhou
I thought of  this time last year

Nǐ de xīn, dàodǐ zài xiǎng xiē shénme
Your heart, in the end, what was it thinking of?

Wèishéme liú xià, zhège jiéjú ràng wǒ chéngshòu
Why did you leave, this outcome caused me to suffer

Zuì ài nǐ de rén shì wǒ, nǐ zěnme shěde wǒ nánguò
The person that loves you the most is me, why are you willing to let me suffer?

Zài wǒ zuì xūyào nǐ de shíhou méiyǒu shuō yījù huà jiù zǒu
When I needed you the most, you left without saying a word.

Zuì ài nǐ de rén shì wǒ, nǐ zěnme shěde wǒ nánguò
The person that loves you the most is me, why are you willing to let me suffer?

Duì nǐ fùchūle zhème duō, nǐ què méiyǒu gǎndòngguò
I’ve suffered so much for you, but yet you’re not touched

This is a lovely sentimental song and my favourite. It brings back memories of good old days as a teenager when I started courting with a girlfriend and then suddenly got separated.
It is so helpful with the chinese pinyin and english translation lyrics for everyone to master the mandarin characters.
In fact through songs, mastering the chinese language is the easiest way as we tend to remember it by hard.

Huey, this song remind me of Uncle Steve, this was one of the song I heard him sing all of the time when I was in Canada ( 20 years+). It bring back a small part of the childhood memories.

We should plan a trip to go to Canada to visit Uncle Steve (you, me, vinny and David).
